How it Works

LED is an acronym for light emitting diode. This is a silicon chip that, with a variety of added substances, releases different colors when electronically stimulated. Since the laboratory studies have shown that skin cells grow 150-200 percent faster when exposed to certain LED light wavelengths deliver powerful restorative properties to some conditions.

Each treatment will last five minutes to an hour. Two treatments a week are needed for a total of 10-12 treatments.  There is no pain or downtime associated with these procedures. We often use LED therapy post laser resurfacing to enhance healing.
