What is pediatric dermatology?
Pediatric Dermatology is skincare for anyone under the age of 18. Children come into contact with all kinds of bacteria and viruses, many of which can affect the skin. Add to this the various common skin disorders such as psoriasis, eczema, ringworm, hives, poison ivy and warts; you can easily see how a practice might be quite busy serving the needs of those under the age of 19.
